Disruptionology

Continuity became discontinuity.

In the context of digitalisation, digitization and digital transformation, we have found the new term for the change between these aggregate states: Disruption.

We analyse that we find a “Disruption” everywhere.

Not only the Digitization and the Pandemic “Covid-19”.

What next in a disrupted Future: another pandemic, recession, depression, massive unemployment, war, riot, invasion, refugee surge, earthquake, banking collapse, flood, fire, tsunami,? We navigate from one disruption to the next.

One of the fathers of the early Christian Church St. Jerome “Sanctus Sophronius Eusebius Hieronymus” has several times used the term “Facere necessitate virtutem!” or in english “Make a virtue out of necessity”

Neverless this idiomatic expression; in German: “Wie man aus einer Not eine Tugend macht.” has been successfully following me and my work for the last 20 years.

Nowadays, some professor colleagues use the definition “Turning Crisis into Opportunity”. For me it is still “Make a virtue out of necessity”.
